Building Others Up

Building our Sisters up in Christ can be so easy.  There are so many methods we can use, including the simplest form of praying.  We can pray for our sister’s life and relationship with Christ and then pray with our Sisters in Christ.  Prayer can do some amazing things and as the Bible says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).  How amazing is the power we have through prayer.  It can create miracles.

Another important aspect of building up our sisters in Christ is to be with them and to be open with them.  Start a Bible study together; share your thoughts and feelings.  Engage in one another.

As you know, some people have already learned to do the things mentioned above.  Sometimes to build up our sisters is just being a friend, hanging around with them, chatting with them, and being part of their lives.

I hope that this small snippet of words can help someone see different ways you personally can help build up our sisters in Christ, no matter how small or big the effect.
