He Cares, Give Him your Cares

Recently, the Lord has been teaching me several things through some trials He has placed into my life. I Peter 5:7 has been a real blessing to me. It says, "Casting all your care on Him, because He cares for you." I listened to a sermon on this verse a while back. The speaker pointed out that in casting all our care on Him, it doesn't leave any cares for us to worry about. When Christ said to cast ALL on Him, He didn't mean just the big ones, and you can worry about the rest. Something the speaker said, really stuck out to me. He said, "Cast your care on Him who cares." He wants us to cast our care on Him, because He cares for us. We need to be crowded to Christ!!! Just think of the peace we can feel and know that God has everything in control, if we would only spend more time on our knees!!!! Then, we can rest, knowing that He does hear our prayers, and indeed He will answer them in His timing. Some people may say, " But I pray and pray, and He still doesn't answer". He does answer, my friend. The Bible clearly says that He does. He will either answer with "No." ; "Yes."; or "Wait.", but He will answer. Cast all your burden's, cares, worries, troubles, and heartaches on the One who truly cares for you, and who loves you with an everlasting love. May each of us learn to be a supplicant to the Lord.
